Custom Commissions

I AM CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ONLY 3 COMMISSION SLOTS PER MONTH!

I am thrilled to work with you and welcome the chance to create original art for your walls!

Materials: I work with high-quality oil paint on canvas, and I give it the time it needs to cure properly before sending it out to you. This process takes about a month, sometimes a bit longer if the paint layers are thicker. This way, I ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.

Getting the Art to You: I can deliver the work if you are within one hour of Boston. Otherwise the work will be shipped with tracking and insurance via UPS. Shipping in the United States is included in the price of the commission. International shipping will be calculated via UPS.

Hanging: I include hanging hardware on each piece. The sides of the canvas will be painted and you can select to hang the work unframed or note if you would like me to work with a framer for the piece. I am happy to arrange that as well.

Style: I am eager to work with you to create a piece that you enjoy. Please carefully look at the style of my work. I create landscapes and abstract colorful works. My style can not be changed but if you like the style, I can gladly work with your  preferred colors, size, and/or subject matter.

Pricing: Every commission is different, so the price of the canvas varies not only with size but also with complexity. To give you an idea, here are some average price ranges for commissions:

  • Small (11x14) - $800 - $900
  • Medium (12x24) - $1000 - $1400
  • Large (24x36) - $1500 - $2400
  • X-Large (36x48) - $2500 - $3000

*All paintings take one month to dry from time of completion, so please contact me as far in advance of your event as possible so I have time to both paint the work and let it cure properly."I work with high-quality oil paint on canvas, and I give it the time it needs to cure properly before sending it out to you. Original Art, Created for You

A commissioned painting begins with a connection—to a place, a color, a memory, or the feeling you want to bring into your home.

I welcome the opportunity to create an original oil painting that feels personal to you and brings color, movement, and joy into your space. Together, we’ll consider your preferred palette, the scale of your room, and what inspires you.

I accept a limited number of commissions so I can give each painting thoughtful attention.

My Artistic Approach

My paintings explore nature, memory, and emotion through expressive brushwork and layered color. I create abstract, landscape, and floral works in oil on canvas.

Your ideas help guide the painting’s colors, dimensions, and inspiration, while the finished work reflects my artistic style. Please explore my available paintings to get a sense of my approach.

You are welcome to share photographs of your room, fabric samples, a design board, or images of my paintings that speak to you. I’m happy to help you choose a size and palette that work beautifully in your space.

How the Process Works

1. Share your ideas

Complete the inquiry form below with your preferred size, colors, inspiration, location, and any deadline. If you’re unsure where to begin, we can explore the possibilities together.

2. Agree on the details

We’ll discuss the direction of the painting, pricing, framing options, and an estimated completion date. You’ll receive a written proposal outlining the project.

3. Reserve your commission

A 50% deposit reserves your place in my painting schedule. The remaining balance is due before delivery or shipping. Any alternative payment schedule must be agreed upon before work begins.

4. Follow the painting’s progress

I’ll share a progress update and invite your feedback at an agreed stage. We can discuss refinements within the original direction of the commission. Significant changes to the size, subject, or palette may require an updated quote and timeline.

5. Welcome your painting home

Once the painting is sufficiently dry for safe handling, I’ll arrange delivery or insured shipping. Your artwork will arrive with hanging hardware and a certificate of authenticity.

Timing and Materials

I work with high-quality oil paints on canvas. Each painting needs time for both its creation and drying before it can travel safely.

Your timeline will depend on my studio schedule, the size of the work, and the paint layers. I’ll confirm an estimated delivery window before you reserve your commission. Please share any special deadline when you inquire.

Oil paint continues to cure over time, so I’ll also provide guidance on caring for your new painting.

Framing and Delivery

Canvas edges are finished so your painting can be displayed unframed. If you prefer a frame, I’m happy to help coordinate a framing option that complements the artwork and your room.

Local delivery may be arranged within approximately one hour of Boston. Shipped paintings are carefully packaged and sent with tracking and insurance.
