🌸 SPRING WORKSHOP

Painting the Energy of Spring: Bold Florals

Step into the energy of spring through color, movement, and expressive mark-making.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how to paint florals in a loose, intuitive way—focusing less on perfection and more on capturing the feeling of the season. Inspired by blooming flowers and shifting light, you’ll learn how to build a painting using bold color choices, layered brushstrokes, and a sense of freedom in your mark-making.

I’ll guide you through my process—from starting with simple shapes and a limited palette to developing a dynamic, finished painting full of life and movement.

This is a welcoming space for all levels. Whether you’re new to painting or returning to your practice, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of color and a finished floral painting.

You’ll learn:

  • How to start a painting without overthinking
  • Color mixing using a limited palette
  • Expressive brushwork and layering techniques

You’ll leave with:
One completed floral painting on canvas panel
