Watch Over Me came from a moment when I felt my higher power looking down on me and protecting me over a magical land. I wanted to paint that feeling of being held and watched over, even when the world feels vast and uncertain.
The bright blue water I captured reminds me of Tahoe. I love that clear, vivid color, and I wanted it to bring a sense of wonder into the landscape. As I painted, I let that memory of the water and the feeling of protection come together on the canvas. Painting gives me a way to express something I feel deeply but can't always put into words. My hope is that this piece brings a little of that wonder and reassurance into your space.
This original painting measures 30″ × 40″ on stretched canvas, 1 inch deep, with blue-painted edges. It is wired and ready to hang. If you would like it framed, please email me for options. If you live in the Boston area, I’m happy to hand-deliver the art to you.
