I painted In My Own Skin as an exploration of what it means to feel truly at home in yourself. Color was my language here — bold, layered, and unapologetic. The gestures came intuitively, each mark building on the last until the painting found its own truth.
The title says everything I wanted it to say. This is a piece about confidence, identity, and the beautiful complexity of being human. I hope it speaks to you the way it spoke to me when I made it.
